Ultrasound Tech- OP

Job Shift: Rotate Job Type: Per Diem The Ultrasound Tech operates Ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of Imaging procedures as indicated by physician orders and established protocols and manufacturer specifications. Prepares room, supplies and equipment for patient usage. Prepares timely documentation in Cerner and PACS.

Attends to direct and indirect patient care needs to ensure successful completion of requested imaging procedures. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Performs a variety of Ultrasound procedures. Assures correct patient information on requests, reports and PACS. Monitors equipment, work area in acceptable working order.

Organizes work area and maintains supplies.

Education

Graduate of an accredited program for Ultrasonography Licenses, Certifications: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Current CPR (BCLS) certification Experience: A minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care setting preferred. #LI-TK1
