Manage BCO/BOM progress across vehicle programs, ensuring schedules and plans are executed on time. Identify early risks, coordinate cross-functional teams, and report mitigation actions to leadership.
Analyze cost-reduction ideas, evaluate technical feasibility, and ensure compliance with safety, homologation, and product strategy. Review ECR/DCR, verify cost accuracy, and ensure documents are released at approved breakpoints. Control BOM targets, assess reuse/scrap opportunities, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Finance, and Purchasing.
Support localization and commodification initiatives to reduce cost and increase parts standardization. Conduct assessments on inventory, obsolete parts, and optimization opportunities for current and next-generation vehicles.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical fields. 3–7 years of experience in BOM/BCO management, cost optimization, product development, or engineering within the automotive or manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of BOM structure, ECR/DCR processes, homologation requirements, and cross-functional product development workflows.
Solid analytical skills with the ability to evaluate technical feasibility, cost–benefit, inventory impact, and risk assessment across multiple vehicle programs. Experience working with systems such as SAP, PowerBI, EBOM/MBOM/SBOM, or similar data platforms. Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Finance teams.
Strong problem-solving mindset, proactive in identifying risks, proposing solutions, and driving decisions with stakeholders. Ability to work under tight timelines, manage multiple tasks, and ensure alignment across different modules and departments. With respect to all your personal data shared to Vin.
