High School Choral Accompanist Pool 2026-2027

Job Pool for all individuals interested in applying for High School Choral Accompanist positions. Applicants can apply here for current and/or anticipated vacancies. PRIMARY PURPOSE: Provide artistic, high quality accompaniments of advanced repertoire, for 5A high school solos, small ensembles, and choral ensembles during classes, before and after school, and weekend rehearsals and performances.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification: Bachelor's Degree in Music, Music Education, or Music Performance Valid Texas teaching certificate or be able to go through an Alternative Certification Program, leading to Texas Certification. Special Knowledge/Skills: Primary instrument � piano; high degree of proficiency on piano. Must be able to sight-read music and read an open score.

Experience: At least one year of student teaching or approved internship. SALARY: Teacher Salary
