Communications Technician

The Responsibilities of the Communications Technician: Under general supervision, performs the installation, maintenance and repairs of data and voice communications systems and equipment in the assigned region and statewide. Provides initial support to computer issues of end users in the assigned region and statewide.

Performs the installation, maintenance, and repairs for data and voice communications systems and equipment to include dispatch communications systems, region and unit office radios, VoIP and telephone systems such as mobile radios, automatic vehicle location devices, portable radios, cellphones, and other personal mobile devices.
