Production Operator II - 2nd shift (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm) Department: Production, Solutions Location: Carol Stream, IL Type: Full Time Summary: The Production Operator II is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of processing and packaging equipment used to manufacture liquid and dry blend products.

The Production Operator II will weigh, combine, and mix materials, monitoring and manipulating materials at various stages of processing. This role ensures that production meets safety, quality, and efficiency standards while adhering to GMP, HACCP, and company policies.

Essential Duties

and Responsibilities. Operate blending, mixing, and packaging equipment. Perform pre- and post-operational setup and disassembly of equipment. Verify and weigh raw materials per work orders and blend sheets Mix ingredients according to specified procedures and take batch samples Package, label, and palletize finished products accurately.

Maintain documentation for quality, safety, and production records. Assist with washdowns, sanitization, and equipment cleaning. Support audits and follow HACCP procedures. Maintain a clean work area. Cross-train on various equipment, processes, and production departments Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years’ experience in food manufacturing preferred Ability to read and write English (75% literacy) Required Skills/Abilities: Strong attention to detail and time management Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office 1 + year of experience operating forklifts Work Conditions & Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The work environment is normally in a production Setting Ability to lift and move up to 55lbs frequently. Stand for extended periods; frequent squatting, bending, twisting, and bi-lateral wrist movements. Tolerate exposure to a variety of different aromas and powdered substance. What’s in it for you?
