The Collector#s role resolves accounts after billing by pursuing appropriate reimbursement from payers; performs follow‑up, documentation, and resolution activity within policy; performs timely payer follow‑up; documents all actions thoroughly in the patient accounting system; escalates complex accounts or systemic payer issues to the supervisor; and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Minimum 2#3 years of hospital insurance collections across all payers (government # commercial) Preferred Ability to resolve most accounts without escalation. #
