System Administrator and Test Engineer

The ideal candidate will have skills in a variety of technologies including storage, compute and networking.

Strong trouble shooting and creative problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively to resolve issues.THE ROLEResearching, testing, development and writing in support of benchmarking, and testing. Running publicly available hardware benchmarks and tracking results. Running provided Python/Power. Shell/Bash/Shell scripts or interactive steps to stress test server infrastructure hardwareQUALIFICATIONSAssociate degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required 2+ years’ experience or working knowledge administrating AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle cloud2+ years or working knowledge with scripting languages such as Python and Batch/Shell scripts.

Ability to take clear notes and write concise technical documentation Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing. Must be able to work Pacific Time Zone NICE TO HAVE2+ years’ experience in a Windows environment2+ years' experience with Linux Administration1+ year experience in configuring enterprise storage1+ year consumer hardware benchmarking and testing2+ years with building sandbox and lab environments.

Ability to conduct research to learn and understand new technologies. Additional experience in the following areas:Kubernetes AI/ML workloads. Microsoft SQL Server.
