Laundry Attendant

We are seeking an efficient individual to join our team as a Laundry Attendant: Part Time, or Full Time. The Laundry Attendant will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our spa by handling the washing, drying, and folding of all textiles used within the facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, organizational skills, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and folding machines to ensure optimal performance. Wash, dry, and fold all linens, towels, robes, and other textiles used within the spa according to established standards and procedures. Inspect textiles for stains, tears, or damage and treat or report any issues accordingly.

Ensure that all laundry is properly sorted, labeled, and stored in designated areas. Monitor inventory levels of clean linens and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, including regular cleaning of machines and workspaces. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling laundry chemicals and operating machinery.

Assist with receiving and storing deliveries of clean linens and supplies as needed. Collaborate with other spa staff members to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of services. Perform other duties as assigned by the spa management team.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required. Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and stand for extended periods.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Willingness to undergo training as necessary. Salary $15.92 - $15.92 per hour
