Hopper Filler (Material Processing) - Sheet Extrusion (B)

Job Summary

Controls resin and/or regrind from hoppers or box containment to blending equipment of sheet extrusion lines. Must be able to work B Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Every Other Sunday, 6:45PM to 7AM. This shift pays $1.00 per hour shift differential. Job Duties: Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouse Maintains a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents, and maintains quality standards Responsible for but not limited to; resin identification, regrind identification, data entry in company specific programs and resin containment storage Ensures accurate resins and/or regrind quantities are added to meet customer standards as stated on the work order and/or ISO document Responsible for a visual inspection of product before it is used Responsible for Quality Standards but not limited to daily production log book, quality control documents or forms and data collection procedures.

Communicates with supervisor or lead should there be any equipment malfunctions in a timely manner Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Maintain a current certification in lift truck operation Maintain a current certification in aerial lift operation Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task Exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills Must possess good problem solving skills Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Must have basic computer skills Willingness to work as team member or independently Transcendia is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all candidates for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
