Position Overview

Tutor Partners is seeking experienced qualified high school math tutors to provide in-person tutoring services in partnership with the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) at its specialized high schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct academic impact with students during the school day. Location International Polytechnic High School Schedule Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm, starting now through the end of the 26-27 school year.

Pay Rate $20-30 per hour Qualifications Associate’s degree or minimum of 24 college credits required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience working with K-12 students Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to pass required background clearances (e.g., Live. Scan/fingerprinting) as required by LACOE Reliable transportation to assigned site Responsibilities Provide small-group and push-in math support aligned to student needs during the school day Track and report student progress Participate in instructional planning with teachers and school leaders, administration of assessments, and coordination meetings Collaborate with Tutor Partners staff and site personnel to coordinate scheduling and materials Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional learning environment At Tutor Partners, we believe every student deserves a compassionate, committed tutor who helps them reach their fullest potential.
