Job description

Shipping & Receiving Your Responsibilities Supports inventory accuracy by ensuring components are stocked in a manner that facilitates ease of identification, counting, and maintaining record accuracy. Stores components according to established procedures to ensure that components are safeguarded from damage. Assists in the preparation of periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock.

Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, deterioration of or damage to stock, and location changes. Assists in the distribution of stock, ensuring that documentation and product is accurate and meets quality requirements and current policy. Rejects defective parts, completes appropriate documentation.

Recommends methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor or shelf loading capacities, and required space. Operates lift trucks or electric hoists to assist in loading or moving materials and products. What you bring High School Diploma or GED 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment Ability to interpret blue prints Ability to follow written or verbal instructions Must have knowledge of health and safety requirements including but not limited to fire hazards, compressed gases, electrical, chemical and mechanical devices What we offer Generous health package including health, dental, disability, life, and voluntary insurance options.
