Embedded Mathematics Teacher Part-Time

Job Title: Embedded Math Part-Time Instructor Terms of Employment: 10-month contract; 183 days; Part-Time 0.43 FTE FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Director of Career and Technology Center Brief Description of Position: The Embedded Math Instructor facilitates meaningful learning of the course competencies in the curriculum and proactively supports all facets of the learning environment.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education (Math) Valid Missouri Math Teacher Certification Grades 9-12 Successful student teaching Excellent oral and written communication skills Skills in human relations, leadership, and conflict management. Knowledgeable of teaching techniques that meet the diverse needs of students Experience in formative assessments, cooperative learning techniques, and data analysis Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide high-quality instruction to students in mathematics.
