Commercial Plumbing Superintendent

Description: Liberty Mechanical is seeking a Results-driven Commercial Plumbing Superintendent with 5+ years' experience managing large-scale plumbing projects from pre-construction through completion. Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety and code requirements .

Strong leader skilled in labor planning, subcontractor coordination, safety, and quality.

$3 5 to $ 50 /hourly (depending on relevant experience and skills) Medical, Dental, Vision plans Basic Life Insurance Short- and Long-Term Disability 401k Match Paid Holidays Paid Time off What You'll Do: Working on tools (pending project size assigned) Project Scheduling & Budget Management Blueprint & Specification Adherence OSHA & Safety Compliance Enforcement Team Workforce Development Subcontractor Coordination on all levels Regular standing, walking, and climbing Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Inspections Coordination Contractor Communication What You’ll Do: Oversee day-to-day field operations for commercial plumbing projects, ensuring safety and proper execution of labor schedule , plans, specifications, and code requirements Required to manage multiple job sites, coordinate manpower , subcontractors, materials, and equipment Lead and supervise plumbing crews at each site, assigning work and then monitoring productivity and workmanship.

Review blueprints and specifications to ensure proper layout and constructability before installation Coordinated with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to resolve conflicts and maintain schedule alignment while not escalating applicable conflicts Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and local plumbing codes Schedule inspections Identify project risks and implement corrective actions with the project manager Maintain daily reports, progress updates, and documentation for project tracking and leadership review What You’ll Bring: Experience in building high-performing field teams focused on safety, accountability, and productivity Strong communication between field teams, management, and clients Proactive problem-solving with the ability to anticipate project challenges Strong knowledge of plumbing code Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good attitude Experience in reviewing project requirements High School Diploma or GED Trade School / Technical Certification (Plumbing, Construction Management – preferred) Certifications: Master Plumber License (preferred/not required ) OSHA 30 Certification (preferred/not required ) Backflow Certification (preferred/not required ) Medical Gas Certification Valid Driver’s License Technical Skills: Procore / Bluebeam / Plan.
