Speech Language Pathologist - SLP - School Setting

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with pediatric experience to join a supportive school district in Coos Bay, Oregon. This is a full-time, on-site school-based position serving elementary students in grades 3–5 and focused on helping students strengthen communication skills and succeed academically.

Responsibilities

Work on-site, 40 hours per week, from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM. Manage an expected caseload of approximately 45–60 students in grades 3–5. Commit to a full school year contract. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students. Develop and adjust treatment plans based on student needs and progress.

Provide individual and group therapy services. Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and related service providers. Participate in IEP meetings and monitor speech and language goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Requirements

• Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum of 6 months of recent SLP experience within the last 5 years Benefits
