Product Partnerships Manager

Buenos Aires, ArgentinaPermanentPosted Aug 25, 2026

Job description

We’re Pay. Retailers, and we offer cutting-edge payment solutions that empower businesses to succeed in Latin America. Our collaborative and inclusive work environment encourages creativity and growth, where every employee's contribution is valued.

About the role

We are looking for an APM Partnerships Manager: a hybrid commercial, relationship, and product-facing role at the heart of our payment ecosystem. This is not a pure sale nor a pure product role. You will need to understand both sides: the commercial dynamics of APM partnerships and the product implications of each integration, ensuring a first-class end to end relationship managementcycle.

This person will be responsible for our APM network covering Brazil and Argentina. The ideal candidate comes with a book of contacts across the LATAM APM landscape and a track record of turning those relationships into live, revenue-generating integration. Partnership Development: Identify, approach, and close commercial agreements with APM providers across Latin America(wallets, local bank transfers, cash networks, real-time payment schemes,.

Pix, QR code, bank transfers, or cards). Leverage existing relationships with key players in the LATAM APM ecosystem to fast-track integration pipeline. Negotiate commercial terms: revenue share, technical SLAs,exclusivitywindows, and go-to-market commitments. Own the full partnership lifecycle from first contact to signed agreement and live integration.

Product & Integration Coordination: Act as the main point of contact between APM partners and Pay. Retailers' internal Product and Engineering teams. Define integration requirements and translate partner capabilities into product specs for the tech team. Manage integration timelines, resolve blockers, and ensure APMs go live on schedule.

Continuously evaluate the APM portfolio —identifying gaps, deprecating underperforming methods, and prioritising new integrations based on merchant demand and market trends. Market Intelligence & Strategy: Monitor the LATAM APM landscape: new entrants, regulatory changes, volume trends, and competitor APM portfolios. Provide strategic input on APMprioritisationby geography, vertical, and merchant segment.

Work closely with Sales and Merchant Success to understand what APMs merchants need and feed that back into the partnership roadmap Must have Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in a Partnerships, Business Development or Product Partnerships role in the payments industry. Profiles with experience as banking relationship managers could be a potential fit.

Direct experience developing commercial partnerships with payment providers, banks, wallets, acquirers, PSPs or other local payment-method providers in LATAM. Proven track record of negotiating and closing APM partnership agreements — not just managing existing ones. Experience coordinating APM integrations with technical teams (understanding of APIs, payment flows, reconciliation, and settlement).

Deep knowledge of the LATAM payment landscape: local rails, regulatory frameworks, wallets, QR, bank transfers, and real-time payment schemes by country. Skills & Attributes: Comfortable operating in a hybrid commercial-product role (however, relationship and commeercial skills would be the primary focus before the product experience).

Highly autonomous and self-driven: this is an IC role with no direct reports. Execellent organizationa lskills, able to ensure a first class managent cycle. Strong communicator: able to translate technical integration requirements into clear commercial terms and vice versa. Data-driven: comfortable using volumes, conversion rates, and revenue metrics to prioritise partnerships.

Native or fluent in Portuguese and English. Intermediate Spanish (written and spoken) would be a big plus.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of AML/KYC requirements for APM onboarding in LATAM. Prior experience inside a PSP, payment orchestrator. Hybrid model: 3 days from the office, 2 days per week working from home!😊 - offices in CABA Belgrano 1 additional week of vacation✈ Health insurance (Swiss Medical Group - plan Premium)🩺 Free lunch at the office 🥣 Language classes & professional courses An afternoon off on your birthday Free coffee/tea, fruits and snacks from the company ☕🥐🍎
