Job description

  • Teach 16-20 regular classes per week
  • Develop and implement instructional programs
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities
  • Chaperon students off-campus a few times per year
  • Work on some weekends/holidays for school functions
  • Participate in committees and other assigned school roles
  • Engage in general school duties like meetings, exam proctoring, and emergency support Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • State Teaching Certification is plus
  • Extensive knowledge of Japanese History and Government
  • Classroom teaching experience preferred
  • Ability to develop lesson plans and assessments independently Benefits
