Accounting Intern

You will be responsible for performing activities deemed appropriate in the Accounting Department, while pursuing a college degree in accounting, or a related field. Accounting Intern, Part-time Duties include: Pull monthly reports and review data Scanning Assist Accounting Department with creating monthly invoices Data entry in accounting software Enter monthly journal entries Assist with Front Desk coverage, as needed Follow our Company’s standard accounting processes Performing other duties as assigned Requirements: Pursuing a degree in Accounting (or related, i.

e. Finance) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Attention to detail and critical thinking skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Self-starters preferred! Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks preferred, but not required) Must be drug free and maintain a clear appearance Must be felony free and have valid driver’s license While scheduling will remain flexible and accommodate schooling, applicant must contribute at least 20-25 hours per week (intervals of four hours or more) Preferred availability of Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays Anderson Communities strives to Build Better Communities.
