Consultant in Acute Paediatrics

Discover Medics are currently looking for a Consultant in Acute Paediatrics for a permanent role within NHS in Scotland.

Requirements

Qualifications MRCPCH or equivalent qualification Valid driving licence Registration with the GMC with a licence to practise Clinical Experience Able to undertake a general paediatric workload, including the care of newborn infants requiring intensive care Experience of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels Demonstrable experience of regular participation in clinical audit, & implementation of its findings Research & Audit Experience Good general knowledge of paediatrics Basic computing skills Understanding of current issues in the NHS impacting on Scotland in particular Team Working & Interpersonal Skills Able to demonstrate skills in communication and team-working with both medical and non-medical colleagues Evidence of satisfactory organisation of work Evidence of effective interpersonal skills Benefits Excellent salary and benefit package for the right candidate.
