Job Skills / Requirements Full-Time Floater Position Shifts Available All Shifts (Mon-Sun) $22.00/Hr. Job Description: Role: An Armed Utility Security Officer safeguards people and property through patrols, access control, surveillance monitoring, and emergency response, while carrying a firearm, exercising sound judgment, completing reports, coordinating with law enforcement, and providing professional customer service in compliance with all licensing and legal requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid Armed Tennessee Security Officer License Required Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards Must be at least 21 years old 1+ years of verifiable security, military, or law enforcement experience Duties & Responsibilities Security Operations Conduct walking patrols to enhance safety and report concerns Monitor access points; verify identification and credentials Enforce security procedures and Post Instructions Incident Response & Reporting Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol Maintain detailed activity and incident logs Perform routine tasks: lock/unlock doors, manage security systems, monitor surveillance feeds Customer Service & Professionalism Assist visitors and employees professionally Enforce SEI and client policies (smoking, loitering, parking, etc.)

Maintain a clean, well-pressed uniform and professional appearance Required Skills & Abilities Perform effectively in fast-paced, potentially stressful environments Weekend availability when needed Strong situational awareness and curiosity Ability to stay calm, problem-solve, and act effectively in critical situations Basic computer skills and tablet-based reporting Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Physical Requirements Stand or sit for at least 1 hour without support Walk at least ½ mile without stopping Climb 20 commercial stairs without stopping Education & Experience Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred: 3+ years verifiable security, military, or law enforcement experience Note Responsibilities and requirements are not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned based on client or company needs.
