Sales Team Leader – Automotive Sales

Are you an experienced automotive sales professional who enjoys helping others succeed? Fred Martin Motor Company is looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Team Lead to lead, coach, and develop our sales team.

What You'll Do

• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of automotive sales professionals.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to help team members reach their sales goals.
• Lead by example and maintain an active presence on the sales floor.
• Work directly with customers to present vehicle pricing, payment options, and deal structures.
• Present numbers, negotiate terms, overcome objections, and confidently close deals.
• Assist sales team members with customer negotiations, deal presentations, and closing opportunities.
• Monitor individual and team performance, sales goals, and key performance metrics.
• Develop strategies to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and maximize team performance.
• Assist with customer concerns and help ensure a positive buying experience.
• Hold regular team meetings and communicate expectations, goals, and performance updates.
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
• Work closely with dealership management to meet overall sales objectives.

What We're Looking For

• Previous automotive sales experience required.
• Strong closing and negotiation skills.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to motivate, coach, and hold team members accountable.
• A positive attitude and a passion for developing people.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
