Part-time Bus Driver

Description SANY's Syracuse Academy of Science is excited to announce the opening for a Part-Time Bus Driver. Immediate Supervisor: Transportation/Operations Manager Primary Role and Purpose: Operate school bus that transports students and other authorized personnel to and from assigned destinations including but not limited to field trips, sporting events, and other school-related activities.

Check the condition of vehicle tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and all safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order.

Qualifications

Must have valid Drivers License with Passenger School Bus Endorsement Fingerprint clearance through New York State Education Department CDL B or higher P endorsement (passenger) S endorsement (school bus) 3-year minimum school bus driving experience A clean driver's license required Flexibility (10-15 hours per week: days, nights, and weekends) Who We Are Science Academies of New York Charter Schools (SANY) is a unique K-12 school district serving the Syracuse and Utica, New York communities.
