About the Role

Datamax is seeking a highly motivated B2B Outside Sales Executive to drive new business growth in the Fort Smith / River Valley Area market . This role is focused primarily on prospecting, developing new client relationships, and growing territory revenue. For candidates who demonstrate strong sales performance, leadership ability, and a commitment to Datamax's values, this position offers a defined opportunity to advance into a future Sales Manager role as the market and team continue to grow.

You'll play a critical role in expanding Datamax's presence in the region while building the foundation for future leadership opportunities. What You’ll Do Sales & Business Development (80-90%) Drive new business development within assigned territory Prospect and generate new client opportunities Sell office technology solutions including: Copiers & Printers Document Management Network Management VoIP & Unified Communications Conduct needs assessments and solution presentations Develop territory growth strategies Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals Build long-term relationships with business clients Professional Development & Leadership Growth (10-20%) Participate in leadership and management development opportunities Collaborate with sales leadership on territory planning and team initiatives Mentor new sales team members when appropriate Demonstrate behaviors consistent with future sales leadership responsibilities Prepare for advancement opportunities as business growth creates leadership openings Qualifications 3+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience Proven track record of prospecting and new business development Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Leadership potential with an interest in future management responsibilities Experience using CRM systems Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally What We Offer Structured career path from Sales Representative to Sales Manager Leadership development and mentoring opportunities Advancement potential based on performance and business growth Ongoing sales and professional development training Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $39,000 On-Target Earnings (OTE): $60,000-$80,000 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement & professional development Life insurance + FSA Employee assistance program Employee referral program Work Environment Full-time, Monday-Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Based in Fort Smith, AR , covering Northwest Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma territory Combination of field sales, client meetings, and in-office collaboration Why Join Datamax?
