Full Time $75,028.17 Gross per annum + Superannuation Our Values| Respect | Integrity | Teamwork | Service Excellence | Innovation About the Opportunity We are seeking a Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator who is motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young children and their families.
Based in the coastal town of Portland in Victoria’s Southwest, this full-time position offers the opportunity to join a welcoming, supportive and fast-paced team environment. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality care, education and support to children and families within our community.
The Karreeta Peeneeyt Mara Portland Child and Family Complex is a purpose-built facility providing both Long Day Care and Kindergarten programs. What you need to Succeed A Diploma in Education and Care. Current First Aid qualification HLTAID012. National Child Safety training. Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and an understanding of how this this reflects on daily practice. Demonstrated experience working with children and families. Experience in assisting in the development and implementation of an educational program.
A genuine understanding of and a desire to work with children aged 0 through to kindergarten age. A positive outlook and team approach. Effective communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with all staff. Ability to manage risks and identify health and safety issues pertaining to workplace.
