In this role, you will: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and vendor payments Receive, record, and deposit school funds accurately and securely Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and reconciliations Assist with audits and maintain detailed financial documentation Track classroom, grant, and program expenditures Maintain compliance filings, including Secretary of State documentation Support purchasing and inventory tracking for materials, supplies, and equipment Provide professional, courteous service to staff, vendors, auditors, and board members Serve as a reliable resource to managers and department leads on fiscal procedures Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism Drive to local sites such as banks or the post office as needed Maintain confidentiality and uphold the school’s mission and values Qualifications and Skills Required experience with Specialized Data Systems/LINQ software Must be a notary public or willing to become one within six months of hire Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices Ability to work effectively with auditors, board members, and administrators Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Skilled at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and excellence
