Carpet Cleaning Technician

Experienced Carpet Cleaning Technician First Coast Home Pros | Full-Time | Monday–Friday Days | $20/hr Guaranteed or 21% Commission, Whichever Is Higher At a Glance  Pay: 21% commission on labor revenue or $20 per hour, whichever is greater.  Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours.  Provided: Company vehicle, cleaning equipment, and supplies.  Required: Hands-on experience with carpet steam cleaning and tile and grout cleaning. How You Get Paid Our pay plan rewards productive technicians while protecting your paycheck during slower periods:  Earn 21% commission on the labor revenue from every job you complete.

 Guaranteed minimum of $20 per hour.  Each pay period, we calculate both and pay you whichever is greater. You will never earn less than $20 per hour, and the more work you complete, the more you make.  Additional bonus opportunities. Example: In a 40-hour week, you complete jobs totaling $5,000 in labor revenue. Your commission is $1,050 (21% of $5,000), compared with $800 in hourly pay (40 hours × $20).

You are paid the higher amount, $1,050, which works out to about $26.25 per hour. In a slower week with $3,000 in labor revenue, commission would be $630, so you would be paid the $800 hourly guarantee instead.

Job Responsibilities

 Provide excellent carpet steam cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and other related services.  Safely operate cleaning equipment, machinery, and tools.  Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers.  Recommend additional services that benefit the customer and enhance their experience.

 Collect customer payments and complete required service paperwork.  Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and ensure equipment and supplies are properly stored.  Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.  Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and varying job conditions.  Maintain positive customer feedback, reliable attendance, and professional working relationships.

Leadership Opportunity: Candidates with strong leadership skills may have the opportunity to take on additional Team Leader responsibilities, including training team members, coordinating daily job productivity, driving a company vehicle and trailer, and helping maintain excellent customer satisfaction.

Requirements

 Previous carpet steam cleaning and tile and grout cleaning experience is required.  Valid driver's license and clean driving record.  Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening.  Ability to safely handle cleaning solutions and chemicals.  Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying over 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and pushing or pulling equipment.

 Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.  Strong work ethic, dependability, and a willingness to learn.  Excellent customer service and communication skills.  Supervisory or management experience is a plus!
