JOB SUMMARY

Tests sample from each batch of savory product mixed, according to testing procedures manual, making sure each batch conforms to standard; performs other various laboratory tests; and maintains records for the above. Inspects all savory production, making sure that the finished product is the correct weight, package and labeled and coded correctly, and cartoned and carton labeled correctly, and maintains appropriate records for the above.

Monitor clean up on savory production lines between product change PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Perform appropriate testing procedures on each batch of savory product mixed. Determine number of batches, print savory schedule and formulas Check each batch of savory product to ensure correct weights and record Check finished goods and material in process and record information Hold any product that does not fall within accepted limits.

Rotate retained samples Test finished product between savory product change Check retained samples or returned products concerned in Customer complaints Perform batch checks when necessary Record mixing errors and any adjustments made to batches Record all checks and tests and file for future reference Edit Formulas. Print daily paperwork and photos for dessert floor Train new Technicians and Inspectors Monitor clean up on lines between product Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.

Regular attendance on the job, dependability and reliability is required. Sense of ordinary care to prevent material losses or damages to product. Interact with other associates in a cooperative and cordial manner. Perform checks on film and case to ensure correct film and case print is being used, and record checks Monitor Dessert Floor and Savory Department for printing and packaging errors Answer phones.

Pallet verifications Review all incoming films Clean dishes and the lab as needed. Work with R&D in Savannah on rework, test and special batch formulas Review Daily paperwork, enter data into computer. Evaluates out of spec product for rework percentages. Monitor all lab supplies. Weekly environmental swabbing Work with formula changes and substitutions of ingredients.
