Janitorial Equipment Technician

POSITION SUMMARY

The Equipment Technician is responsible for the preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overall serviceability of commercial janitorial and floor-care equipment. Equipment includes autonomous/robotic scrubbers, riding and walk-behind scrubbers, floor machines, burnishers, extractors, vacuums, and other powered cleaning equipment. This position is also responsible for maintaining accurate service records, preventive maintenance schedules, equipment and parts inventories, and providing routine reports to management.
