Housekeeping Supervisor – Luxury Beach House | eMkhuze, KZN Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join a luxury beach house in eMkhuze, KZN. This live-in opportunity is suited to a hands-on hospitality professional with strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining exceptional housekeeping and guest service standards.

Position details: Position: Housekeeping Supervisor Location: eMkhuze, KZN Property type: Luxury Beach House Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Accommodation: Live-in Key responsibilities: Oversee the daily housekeeping operation and ensure all areas of the property are maintained to a high standard. Supervise, guide and support the housekeeping team to ensure efficient daily operations.

Allocate duties and monitor staff performance to ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time. Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene throughout the property. Conduct regular inspections of guest areas, bedrooms and communal spaces. Ensure linen, laundry, amenities and housekeeping supplies are well managed and adequately stocked.

Assist with training and onboarding of housekeeping staff where required. Work closely with management and other departments to ensure guest requirements are attended to promptly. Assist with preparing the property for guest arrivals and ensuring a high standard of presentation throughout their stay. Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Requirements

Previous housekeeping supervisory experience within a luxury hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning standards and laundry operations. Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for presentation. Good leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and organisational abilities.

A hands-on approach and willingness to assist with operational duties when required. Professional, reliable and service-focused. Ability to work flexible hours according to the requirements of the property. Candidates must be comfortable with a live-in position.
