Lead Java Engineer III

What you'll do

• Build and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices deployed on AWS EKS
• Own backend development end-to-end — from design through production deployment
• Contribute to React/TypeScript UI where needed
• Partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives
• Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering standards across the team Requirements: - 3+ years Java development; Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices
• Hands-on Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker experience owning deployments
• AWS experience — EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Cloud. Watch at minimum
• Proven ability to engage and communicate with non-technical stakeholders
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience in a team environment
• React and TypeScript — working knowledge sufficient Nice to have:
• AWS certification
• CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Experience in financial services
• Kafka or messaging queue exposure
