Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using commercial dishwashing machines and manual cleaning methods. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and counters, to comply with health and safety standards. Sort and properly store clean dishes and kitchen equipment to ensure easy access for kitchen staff.

Assist with kitchen waste disposal and recycling efforts in accordance with company policies. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a hygienic environment. Support kitchen staff by performing additional cleaning tasks as needed, such as wiping down surfaces and restocking supplies.

Adhere to a flexible work schedule and maintain regular and reliable attendance to meet operational demands. Skills: The required skills such as basic reading enable the Dishwasher to comprehend cleaning protocols and safety instructions essential for maintaining hygiene standards. Sanitization skills are applied daily to ensure all kitchenware is thoroughly cleaned and safe for use, preventing foodborne illnesses.

Physical skills like lifting heavy items and standing for long periods are critical for handling large volumes of dishes and maintaining productivity throughout shifts.
