Scientist/Technician

R2T, Inc. is accepting applications for an Ecologist for the position of GDOT Ecologist to join our growing Environmental group in Atlanta, GA area. Company Information: R2T, Inc. is a Civil & Environmental Engineering firm providing a full range of engineering services. Specific responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Evaluates selects, and applies standard scientific techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptions and modifications.

Conducts field surveys and water quality and stormwater monitoring. Receives instruction on specific assignment objectives, complex features and possible solutions. Assistance is furnished on unusual problems and is reviewed for application of sound professional judgment. Provide additional program support as needed. Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 1-2 years related work experience (in most cases).

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Technology or related field is required. Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely with written and verbal communication. Team player, a professional who is eager to collaborate and communicate with project team members. Must have ability to interface with other disciplines and employees.

Proficient with MS Office Suite. Valid driver's license. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test. Authorized to work in the United States.
