What You'll Do

As a Certified Medication Aide, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to support safe, efficient patient care.

Your responsibilities

Administer medications as authorized by your certification and applicable regulations. Assist nursing staff with daily patient care and healthcare activities. Accurately document medication administration and relevant patient information. Observe and promptly report changes in patients' conditions to licensed nursing staff.

Maintain appropriate medication handling, storage, and safety practices. Follow established healthcare procedures, facility policies, and infection prevention protocols. Communicate professionally with patients, nursing staff, and correctional facility personnel.

What We're Looking For

Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification recognized in Oklahoma. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety. Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a structured healthcare environment. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow established medication administration procedures and nursing direction.

No correctional healthcare experience required. New graduates are encouraged to apply!
