Power Bend Operator I
Job description
Description Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, a Tube Bender is responsible for fabricating, bending, forming, and assembling precision tubing used in aerospace applications. This position requires interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, operating tube bending equipment, and ensuring all components meet strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Set up and operate tube bending equipment. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to manufacture tubing assemblies. Measure, cut, bend, and form tubing to required specifications and tolerances. Verify bend angles, dimensions, and overall configuration against engineering requirements. Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
Troubleshoot tooling, machine, and production issues to ensure efficient workflow. Follow Aerospace Quality Management System requirements and customer specifications. Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time Other duties may be assigned as needed Requirements Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
