Electrical Project Engineer - Low Voltage Rail Systems

About the Employer Our client is an established engineering, construction and operations business delivering transport, building, water and other infrastructure works across Australia. Its multidisciplinary teams support the development and operation of assets used by local communities. The Opportunity Coordinate low-voltage power, lighting and communications packages for a substantial rail upgrade, based at the Beerburrum project site.

Your Work

• Manage design, construction, testing and handover against scope, budget, schedule and risk controls.
• Coordinate design integration, assurance and change management.
• Provide technical support, site inspections and quality oversight during construction.
• Resolve interfaces with designers, delivery partners and rail stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety, environmental and quality requirements.

Requirements

Skills, Education and Requirements

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience delivering low-voltage infrastructure, including power, lighting and station electrical systems.
• Capability across design, construction and commissioning management.
• Understanding of electrical standards, safety and engineering assurance.
• Experience in rail, transport or brownfield environments and managing contractors, cost, scope and programme.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and technical communication.
