  • Global Private Credit / Capital Solutions Location : London Job Summary The position will be a member of the Global Private Credit / Capital Solutions team and will work with the investment teams and portfolio company management to drive value across Baring’s investments. The position will be focussed on providing restructuring, analytical and operational support to portfolio companies as well as supporting operational and financial due diligence for both existing and potential investments. Primary Responsibilities Provide restructuring, analytical and ongoing operational support to portfolio companies where needed. Work closely with the investment team on positions where there are signs of underperformance. Collaborate with team members to support due diligence efforts on both existing portfolio holdings and potential new investment opportunities. Develop, maintain and institutionalize relationships with restructuring advisors and turnaround professionals. Present investment updates to the Investment Committee. Mentor junior professionals. Assist with special projects, as needed.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in restructuring or and/or operational / management roles. Ideally the candidate will have a strong grounding in finance and accounting. The candidate needs to be comfortable operating at the C-suite / Board level. Experience across multiple sectors and geographies is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree from a top university required.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and negotiation skills Team player, with exemplary work ethic and ability to work under pressure. Ability to multi-task and independently manage deadlines.
