AutoCAD Designer

Hiring: AutoCAD Designer Location: Roseville, CA   Experience required: 3 Years

High school or equivalent Job function: Design Industry: Facilities Services   JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a Career Position in Design and Project Management for Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems in Commercial Tenant Improvement/New Construction Projects. The person in this role will complete company-sponsored training and certifications relative to those activities. This position requires proficiency in AutoCAD drafting functions. Applicant must also be proficient in Microsoft Office, be a good communicator, and possess excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate with General Contractors and other subs to gather required information to design the project’s sprinkler system. Create detailed drawings through extensive use of AutoCAD Create material listings for projects Perform Hydraulic Calculations Work with other departments within the company to hand over proper job information. Maintain organized records, including but not limited to tracking of submittals, change orders, and permits.   Must have: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Commercial Fire Sprinkler Designer Proficiency in AutoCAD Experience with Bluebeam Ability to perform hydraulic calculations Strong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
