VCSU Student Center Work Crew

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only VCSU students are eligible to be hired in this position. Unsolicited applications to this posting will NOT be considered or responded to. Title: Student Center Work Crew Department: Student Center Reports to: Brooke Yanish Position Summary : This position helps the full time custodians in the Student Center.

There are a variety of shifts available. You can work a day time, afternoon, evening or weekend shift; whatever fits your schedule. The job duties vary depending on the shift being worked. You might clean the cafeteria, Viking I, do a room set in the building, or general cleaning throughout. Responsibilities/Expectations : Maintain confidentiality.

Performs other duties as required or assigned pertinent to the position. Must be a positive role model on and off the job. Must know and abide by all University rules and regulations. Must maintain a positive attitude toward the position. Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities : Be a full-time undergraduate student (basic).

Minimum of 10 hours per week Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised. TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED Skill in observing situations. Ability to work and make decisions with minimal supervision. Good interpersonal skills and desire to be a team player. Experience with customer service- common courtesy in working with students, employees, and the public.

Good organization and time management skills. Physical Demands : Regularly required to move about. Will be walking most of the shift.
