Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and evaluate mechanical systems for industrial facilities including process piping, HVAC systems, and thermal systems Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for mechanical equipment and systems Perform site inspections, assessments, and field verifications to support both new designs and modifications to existing systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, civil, and structural engineers, project managers, and contractors. Support equipment selection and procurement for piping and HVAC systems. Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems in industrial settings. Ensure all engineering activities comply with applicable codes (e.

g., ASME, ANSI, NFPA), safety standards, and client requirements. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources efficiently Provide technical input during proposal development and participate in client meetings as needed. Required Qualifications : PE License Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in industrial processing, piping design, and HVAC systems Proficient in engineering software such as Autodesk products Knowledge of relevant standards (ASME B31.

3, B31.1, SMACNA, ASHRAE) Strong problem-solving and project management skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
