Job description
The City of La Crosse is seeking to hire temporary summer laborers at the Street Department. It is the responsibility of the Street Department to provide maintenance and repair of streets, snow removal, and oversee the refuse and recycling program. These temporary positions will work 10-40 hours per week depending on availability.
Standard operating hours of Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with some weekend and night work. Starting wage is $18.00 per hour. Positions to start 5/1/2026 and end 10/30/2026. Positions are limited term and do not acquire benefits.
