Pay: Up to $35/hour depending upon experience, up to 1hr round trip travel pay, and additional travel per diem offered for those in the DFW Metroplex area Duration: Minimum 3 months, with work expected to continue through the end of the year Schedule: Up to 12-hour shifts, including weekends Job Type: Contract Start: Immediate Skilled Laborer Job Description Skillforce is immediately hiring Skilled Laborers for a long-term data center project in Abilene, TX.

This is an immediate-start opportunity for candidates with trade experience who are comfortable using basic hand tools and following detailed assembly instructions. Experience with CDU racking, assembly, pulling and laying is strongly preferred, but not required. Candidates with experience as Carpenters, Welders, Fitters, Millwrights, Laborers, or in other relevant trades are encouraged to apply.

Training will be provided. Skilled Laborer Responsibilities Installing CDU racking, pulling low voltage cabling, and laying cables into cable trays Use hand tools, power tools, and torque tools safely and accurately Read and follow assembly instructions, drawings, and specifications Measure, align, fasten, and torque components as required Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all site safety procedures and requirements Work extended shifts, weekends, and consecutive days as project demands require Skilled Laborer Requirements 1 year of construction or similar experience preferred Able to work up to 12-hour shifts and extended consecutive workdays OSHA 10 certification required (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Must be able to pass a recent 10-panel drug test Must be willing to complete required site safety orientation before beginning work Skilled Laborer Benefits Competitive pay up to $35/hour depending upon experience Consistent project-based work with a reputable contractor Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay Employee Referral Bonus Program If you're looking for steady work with the opportunity for significant overtime, apply today!
