Position Overview

Th e Junior Project Analyst will support a large hyperscale data center construction project by analyzing data, solving problems, working with numbers, and contributing to the financial and operational success of the project. This entry-level position is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical individual who enjoys working with numbers, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and is eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

These responsibilities generally describe the nature of the position and may not be all inclusive: Track and analyze project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project expenses. Prepare and manage multi-million-dollar monthly client billings, including gathering, organizing, and validating required supporting documents to ensure costs are accurately billed.

Maintain organized, audit-ready billing and cost documents and respond to requests for supporting information. Prepare weekly summary reports for the team on project costs, labor, and weekly activity. Validate labor hours and costs, investigate discrepancies or unusual activity, and coordinate corrections as needed. Review invoices for accuracy, duplicate charges, and other potential issues.

Monitor project costs and billing activity, research variances, and collaborate with the appropriate teams to resolve issues. Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, templates, and workflows. Take ownership of responsibilities and critical deadlines while adapting to the changing needs of a fast-paced project environment.

Proficiency in Excel or a strong desire to develop advanced Excel and data-analysis skills. Ability to collaborate across departments and build strong working relationships throughout the company. Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Self-motivated and willing to ask questions, take initiative, and take ownership of assignments. A continuous improvement mindset with an interest in finding more efficient ways to improve processes and reporting. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with external partners.

Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment. Critical billing and reporting deadlines may occasionally require additional hours to ensure deadlines are met.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree . R ecent graduates are encouraged to apply . Prior construction industry experience is not required ; training will be provided. Proficiency in Excel or a strong desire to develop advanced Excel and data-analysis skills .
