GDI Services, INC., the leading provider of quality facility management services for manufacturing & industrial, distribution, healthcare, commercial, and educational facilities is in need of an engineer at Fort 211, Detroit. Experienced preferred but will train the right candidate. Pay Rate: $36.96 per hour Hours: 11 AM - 7PM, Monday

• Friday Typical Responsibilities include: Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC chiller systems Inspecting compressors, pumps, cooling towers, valves, and controls Checking refrigerant levels, pressures, temperatures, and efficiency Performing preventive maintenance Diagnosing mechanical/electrical problems Working with building automation systems Common workplaces: Hospitals Universities Factories Data centers Large office buildings Airports Skills usually required: Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering / HVAC systems Electrical troubleshooting Refrigeration principles Reading blueprints and technical manuals Certifications (depending on location), often including EPA Section 608 Certification for refrigerants in the U.S. We Offer: Promotion opportunities Medical, dental, vision coverage Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee Discount Program This is a Local 324 Job with full benefits.
