Job Title: Truck Washer Organizational Unit: Select Genetics Department: Transportation Reports To: Logistics Division Manager Location: Goldsboro, North Carolina FLSA Status: Non-Exempt PURPOSE OF POSITION The Truck Washer is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior of company trucks to ensure vehicles are clean, presentable, and maintained in a sanitary condition.

This position supports daily operations by helping maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of company trucks in accordance with company standards and safety procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Wash and clean the exterior of company trucks, including removing dirt, debris, and other buildup. Clean the interior of trucks, including floors, surfaces, windows, and other designated areas. Operate pressure washers, hoses, cleaning equipment, and other tools as needed. Use cleaning products and chemicals in accordance with product instructions and company safety procedures.

Inspect vehicles after cleaning to ensure they meet cleanliness standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe truck-washing area. Properly store cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment after use. Follow all company policies and procedures related to biosecurity and equipment use. Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or vehicle concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Work efficiently and manage assigned cleaning responsibilities to meet operational needs. Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Ensure company trucks are thoroughly cleaned inside and outside. Maintain consistent cleaning quality and attention to detail. Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and appropriately.

Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow company safety policies and procedures. Complete assigned duties within the established work schedule. Report safety concerns, damaged equipment, or other issues promptly. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in truck washing, vehicle detailing, sanitation, or general cleaning preferred. Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures. Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment or willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail. Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and other team members.

Ability to follow workplace safety procedures when handling cleaning products and equipment.
