Host Support & Community Associate
Job description
We’re looking for a Host Support & Community Associate to help us build and grow the Host side of Sync — not just support it. This is a semi- junior role with real ownership . Not a ticket-pushing position. Not a passive community moderator role. You’ll work directly with the founder and take responsibility for how Hosts experience Sync — in support, in communication, and in community.
What you’ll do You’ll be the main point of contact for our Hosts (car owners on Sync): handling support via Zendesk, moderating and growing Host communities (WhatsApp, Facebook), and proactively reaching out to Hosts to help them get more value from the platform. Community is not something that “exists”. You’ll help create it .
That means: participating in our communication channels, starting conversations, explaining features and benefits, spotting confusion early and addressing it before it becomes support. A big part of our support is handled by AI agents .
Your role
is to supervise, train, and improve these systems — so support gets smarter and more human over time. You don’t need years of experience. You do need: ownership, curiosity, and the confidence to reach out to people proactively. If you like cars, that’s a strong plus. If you enjoy explaining things clearly and helping people “get it”, even better.
This role can grow into full ownership of Host Experience over time. This role is for you if: you like talking to users, not hiding behind tickets, you enjoy building structure where there isn’t one yet, you want responsibility early and are comfortable learning on the job.
