We are seeking an experienced Market Research Specialist to conduct local market pricing research and competitor analysis. This is an independent contractor engagement ideal for a self-driven professional who can work autonomously, gather reliable data, and translate findings into clear business recommendations.

Scope of Work Conduct in-depth research within assigned geographic markets Identify direct and indirect competitors Collect and verify competitor pricing structures, service packages, promotions, and value propositions Analyze competitor strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning Assess customer demand trends and pricing expectations Develop a pricing comparison matrix Provide a structured competitor analysis (SWOT or equivalent framework) Deliver strategic recommendations on pricing and positioning Present findings in a professional written report and/or slide deck Deliverables Market landscape overview Competitor benchmarking report Pricing analysis summary Strategic pricing recommendations Final presentation-ready report Requirements Qualifications Proven experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or business analysis Strong analytical and data interpretation skills Ability to source accurate local market data through primary and secondary research Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or reporting tools Clear, professional written communication Ability to meet agreed deadlines without supervision Benefits Application Process Interested candidates should email the following to: kenneth.
