Restaurant Hostess

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and acknowledge all guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner. Manage reservations, walk-ins, waiting lists, and table allocations efficiently. Escort guests to their tables and present menus in accordance with service standards. Maintain accurate reservation records and communicate guest preferences, VIPs, and special occasions to the team.

Respond to guest enquiries and requests, providing accurate information about menus, promotions, and outlet facilities. Monitor guest flow, table availability, and waiting times to ensure a smooth dining experience. Coordinate closely with the restaurant service team and management to ensure seamless guest service. Maintain the hostess area and personal presentation to the highest standards of cleanliness, grooming, and professionalism.

Candidate Requirements: Previous experience as a Hostess or in a similar guest-facing role, preferably within a 5-star hotel or luxury restaurant. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm and approachable personality. Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality. Good organizational skills with the ability to manage reservations and multiple guest requests efficiently.

Professional, confident, and well-presented with excellent grooming standards. Ability to remain calm, positive, and professional in a fast-paced environment. Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage. Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
