Position Overview

As a Salad Bar Clerk, you’ll be responsible for preparing and maintaining the salad bar and cold food displays throughout the day. You’ll help ensure the area is clean, fully stocked, and attractive—offering fresh, delicious options for customers while following food safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare fresh salad bar items including chopped vegetables, fruits, toppings, and pre-made salads Stock, rotate, and organize cold display cases and salad bar items Monitor product freshness and quality, removing any expired or spoiled items Maintain a clean, sanitary, and appealing salad bar area Label and date all prepared items according to company standards Follow all food safety, handling, and sanitation guidelines Assist customers with questions or special requests Support the deli/kitchen team with light prep and cleaning tasks as needed Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old Friendly, dependable, and able to work independently Basic food prep and knife handling skills preferred Willing to obtain a food handler permit (Mc.
