Sr Materials Management Analyst
Job description
As a Sr Materials Management Analyst here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be supporting globally across the supply chain network to gather and manage information about our businesses' capacity to meet customer demand. You will report directly to our leadership team and you’ll work out of our Mississauga, ON location.
In this role, you will support and improve the supply chain planning & execution process within the business. You will execute the vision and goals for your Materials Planning function and manage the processes to achieve excellence in SIOP, supply planning, inventory & replenishment planning management, and resolution of supply chain issues.
You will lead the activities related to the purchase of material, material planning, production planning, inventory control, and shipping/receiving. You will support work autonomously to achieve organizational objectives and drive functional excellence and continuous improvement. You will collaborate among global cross-functional teams to support complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze materials management data and identify opportunities for improvement Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and establish effective procurement plans Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to ensure uninterrupted flow of materials Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to secure cost effective supply of materials Identify and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency The Honeywell Aerospace building is a controlled goods program environment.
Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance. YOU MUST HAVE Completion of post secondary degree or diploma program. Minimum 5 years of work experience in a supply chain role within a manufacturing environment Minimum 5 years of work experience in project management. WE VALUE Bachelor’s Degree Experience in Materials Management, Operations, SIOP, Inventory Management, MRP MPS, Procurement Logistics and Manufacturing Good knowledge of material control systems such as MRP/SAP systems APICS or CPIM Certification Project management and problem-solving skills Ability to solve complex organizational problems Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization Experience in leading/driving change The annual base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $120,000 in Mississauga, ON.
