Spring Boot Backend Engineer

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Build and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications. Develop business logic, backend services, and reusable components. Work with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. Implement database operations using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate.

Develop secure applications using authentication and authorization mechanisms. Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production errors. Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams. Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability. Maintain technical documentation and support application deployment.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of Java programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Hands-on knowledge of Spring Boot and the Spring Framework. Understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON. Knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate. Familiarity with SQL and relational databases. Understanding of exception handling, collections, and multithreading.

Knowledge of Maven or Gradle for dependency management. Familiarity with Git and GitHub. Understanding of unit testing using JUnit and Mockito. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
