Assistant Officer - Department of Mathematics

Department: Department of Mathematics Job Posting Details The Department of Mathematics is seeking a capable, self-motivated appointee to provide administrative and program support. Main duties include: Providing support to academic program administration; Handling student enquiries and supporting student activities; Providing administrative support to daily office operations; Assisting faculty members with personnel and financial matters; Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

The appointee will work collaboratively with the team to deliver efficient, effective and high-quality services. Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably with at least one year of relevant work experience. Proactive and responsive fresh graduates may also be considered. The ideal candidate should be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese and have a good command of MS Office.

Fluency in Putonghua and basic webpage maintenance skills are advantages. The appointee should be attentive to details, able to perform multi-tasks, and pleasant and responsible. (Duration: 2 years, renewable) Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
